Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using Cubing (the "Service"), provided by Jinhwa Jung, an individual operator (the "Operator"), and the rights and obligations of users and the operator. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Description of the Service)

The Service is a mobile app for iOS and Android that provides features for learning, practicing, and recording Rubik's Cube solves and for online matches. Basic features are provided free of charge, and some paid items (cube crystal packs) can be purchased through in-app purchases on the App Store and Google Play. The Service also includes rewarded ads that users choose to watch. The operator may change or discontinue all or part of the Service after giving prior notice.

Article 3 (Eligibility)

• The Service is intended for users aged 14 or older. Persons under 14 may not use the Service.
• Users under 19 must obtain the consent of a legal guardian before making an in-app purchase. Cancellation of a purchase made without such consent may be requested in accordance with applicable laws and each store's refund policy.

Article 4 (Accounts)

• Online features (record registration, rankings, matches) require signing in with a Google or Apple account.
• An account may be used only by its owner and may not be transferred or lent to others.
• You may delete your account at any time in the app's settings.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in the following:

• Manipulating records, rankings, or in-game currency by abnormal means (automation tools, data tampering, etc.)
• Using a nickname that is offensive to others, or impersonating others
• Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
• Abusing the payment system, such as repeatedly obtaining refunds after making purchases

Violations may result in deletion of records, exclusion from rankings, or restrictions on use.

If abuse such as repeated refunds after purchases is confirmed, the Operator may restrict your use of the Service and reclaim in-game currency granted for the refunded purchases.

Article 6 (Game Data)

• Game progress, in-game currency, and collectibles have value only within the Service and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other property benefit.
• Data created while not signed in is stored only in the app's storage on your device and may not be recoverable if you delete the app, clear the app's data, or change devices.
• Progress data created while signed in is stored in your account. When you sign out, the progress data remaining on your device is reset, and data stored in your account is restored when you sign in again with the same account.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property)

Rights to the content included in the Service (design, graphics, software) belong to the operator. The Service uses open-source software, and each license is subject to the terms of the respective project.

Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)

The Service is provided "as is," and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for damages caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or infrastructure failures, or for damages arising in connection with the use of features provided free of charge. However, this does not apply to damages caused by the willful misconduct or gross negligence of the Operator.

Article 9 (Dispute Resolution)

These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute shall be resolved by the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
